Warwick Pro Series Idolmaker-5 String - Black Solid High Polish

The Warwick Pro Series Idolmaker 5-String combines an unmistakable carved-body design with Warwick's renowned construction, premium tonewoods, and highly flexible electronics. Its sculpted mahogany body delivers a warm, resonant foundation, while the three-piece ovangkol neck with Ekanga veneers and wenge fingerboard provides the solid feel, articulation, and fast response Warwick basses are known for.

A pair of passive MEC Vintage Humbuckers feeds an active MEC two-band preamp, giving the Idolmaker a broad tonal range suitable for everything from deep, rounded lows to aggressive rock tones and articulate modern bass sounds. Individual mini switches allow each humbucker to operate in series, parallel, or single-coil mode, greatly expanding the available pickup combinations.

The 34-inch long-scale neck features 20 extra-hard jumbo bronze frets, Warwick's Invisible Fretwork Technology, fluorescent side dots, and an adjustable Just a Nut III. A Warwick two-piece solid-brass 3D bridge provides extensive setup adjustment and helps transfer string vibration efficiently into the body.

Originally offered as part of Warwick's now-discontinued Pro Series, the Idolmaker is an uncommon instrument with a distinctive appearance and a versatile professional-grade electronics package.
