adowsky MetroLine 24-Fret Vintage Single Cut Bass, Red Alder Body, Morado Fingerboard, 5-String - Solid Black Satin The Sadowsky MetroLine 24-Fret Vintage Single Cut 5-string bass features a sleek, undersized single-cut style body made of chambered American Red Alder with a Solid Black Satin finish. The neck is made of American Maple and features a Morado (Pau Ferro) fingerboard. Special features on this bass include Sadowsky J-Style pickups as well as Roger's famous electronics featuring a preamp with switchable mid-boost and trim pot (choice of 500 Hz or 800 Hz, wide or narrow bandwidth) Vintage Tone Control and preamp bypass. Controls include Volume, Balance, VTC (P/P), Treble and Bass. The hardware includes a Sadowsky Quick String Release Bridge and light open gear Sadowsky tuners. Made exclusively in Germany, a Sadowsky MetroLine 24-Fret Vintage Single Cut bass never weighs more than 8.9 lbs (4.0 kg). It’s a great choice for players who want a lightweight single-cut bass with that famous Sadowsky tone: strong, powerful bass that is never muddy. Mids that are present but not too aggressive and a sweet and airy treble range.
