Sadowsky MetroLine 24-Fret Single Cut Bass, Red Alder Body, Morado Fingerboard, 5-String - Natural Transparent Satin The Sadowsky MetroLine 24-Fret Single Cut 5-string bass features a sleek, undersized single-cut style body made of chambered American Red Alder with a Natural Transparent Satin finish. The neck is made of American Maple with a 1.875" / 47.5 mm wide nut and features a Morado (Pau Ferro) fingerboard. Special features on this bass include Sadowsky Soapbar pickups as well as Roger's famous electronics featuring a preamp with switchable mid-boost and trim pot (choice of 500 Hz or 800 Hz, wide or narrow bandwidth), Vintage Tone Control and preamp bypass. Controls include Volume, Balance, VTC (P/P), Treble and Bass. The hardware includes a Sadowsky Quick String Release Bridge and light open gear Sadowsky tuners. String spacing at the bridge is 0.71" / 18 mm and the distance between all of the strings is 2.83" / 72 mm. Made exclusively in Germany, a Sadowsky MetroLine 24-Fret Single Cut bass never weighs more than 8.9 lbs (4.0 kg).
