Sadowsky MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage P/J Bass, Swamp Ash Body, Maple Fingerboard, 4-String - '59 Burst Transparent High Polish Roger Sadowsky has always set himself the goal of improving the design of a bass through a series of specific and integral changes. By building his own electronics, Roger managed to improve the sound of a traditional P/J bass with the special Sadowsky tone: never harsh or shrill. Strong, powerful bass that is never muddy. Presents, but not too aggressive mids and a sweet and airy height range. This 4-string P/J bass has a sleek, undersized J-style body (chambered) made of American swamp ash, painted with a '59 Burst Transparent High Polish finish. The neck is made of American maple and has a fretboard made of American maple. Features of this bass include a Sadowsky P-Style neck pickup and a J-style bridge pickup, active electronics with True Bypass, Vintage Tone Control, Treble and Bass Boost. The hardware includes lightweight Sadowsky Open Gear mechanics and a Sadowsky Quick String Release Bridge. The Sadowsky MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage P/J bass is made exclusively in Germany and will never weigh more than 4.0 kg. It is a great choice for players looking for a lightweight bass with a modern P/J bass sound.
