Sadowsky MetroLine 21-Fret Hybrid P/J Bass, Swamp Ash Body, Maple Fingerboard, 4-String - Nirvana Black Transparent Satin Roger Sadowsky has set himself the task of improving an already very successful bass design even further by making a number of detail improvements. Together with the electronics he developed, he has managed to take the well-known P/J bass sound to a new level, so that today you can speak of a typical Sadowsky Tone: Never sounding harsh, with deep, defined, by no means dull basses, present, but not intrusive mids, as well as sweet and airy heights. This 4-string bass, here in a Nirvana Black Transparent Satin Finish, has a P-style body (chambered) made of American swamp ash. The neck is made of maple and features a maple fingerboard. Special features of this bass are Sadowsky P and J Pickups, active electronics with True Bypass, Vintage Tone Control, Treble and Bass Boost. This bass also features lightweight, open-top sadowsky mechanics and the Sadowsky Quick String Release Bridge. Sadowsky MetroLine 21-Fret Hybrid P/J basses are produced exclusively in Germany. The weight of this bass is never more than 4.0 kg and is therefore also interesting for bass players who are looking for a lightweight solution for the stage in addition to a modern bass sound.
