It is fitted with  Sadowsky J-Style pickups and active electronics with true bypass,  Vintage Tone Control and treble \/ bass boost. The American Maple neck  has an American Maple fretboard with 24 nickel silver frets. Hardware  includes ultra-light Sadowsky tuners and the special Sadowsky Quick  String Release bridge. Made exclusively in Germany, a Sadowsky MetroLine  24-Fret Vintage J\/J Bass will never weigh more than 8.9 lbs \/ 4.0 kg.
