The neck is made from  American Maple and has an American Maple fretboard with 24 nickel silver  frets. This bass is fitted with two passive Sadowsky Soapbar pickups,  both in a modern position, and has active electronics that offer true  bypass, Vintage Tone Control, as well as treble and bass boost. Hardware  includes Sadowsky light open gear tuners and a Sadowsky Quick String  Release bridge. Each Sadowsky MetroLine 24-Fret Modern Bass is made  exclusively in our workshop in Germany and weighs no more than 8.9 lbs  (4.0 kg).
