MYRTLEWOOD TOP, BACK & SIDES

Popularized by Breedlove, myrtlewood, from the windblown Oregoncoast, combines the best elements of rosewood, mahogany and maple—richbass, warm midrange and clear, bright trebles—for truly versatileguitars. Each sonically distinct instrument is individualized by thegnarled, wildly varied, but always arresting grain patterns.

THE BREEDLOVE NECK

Breedlove guitar necks feature a slimmer neck profile, which enablescomfortable play, even with smaller hands. Unlike traditional dovetailneck joints that require major surgery for a neck re-set, it is easy toadjust the play action and neck angle with the Breedlove bolt-on neckand single-action truss rod. The hand-rubbed, semi-gloss Breedlove neckfinish contributes to ideal playability – the finish process alone takesthree days, including precise finish coat applications, fine sanding,and hand buffing and rubbing.
